Commander Tedesco oversees the Detention Division which has a total of 36 Full-Time Employees.
Kevin Tedesco and his wife, Whitney, have been raising their family as Teller County residents since 2017. They have three children, two sons and a daughter. Their daughter locally attends the Woodland Park School District. Their sons are advancing their education both within and outside of Colorado.
Kevin, a combat veteran of the United States Army, began his law enforcement career after returning from Operation Iraqi Freedom 2003-2004. Kevin has both worked in, and supervised, several positions throughout his law enforcement career, including detentions operations, detectives, patrol, traffic, DUI enforcement, police motorcycle and special operations. Kevin joined the Sheriff’s Office in 2017 and brings a culmination of experience. He proudly serves the residents and visitors of Teller County as the agency’s Detentions Commander.
