Professional Standards

The Professional Standards Division is under the professional direction of the Operations Commander.

This division is responsible for the following operational functions at the Teller County Sheriff's Office:

Training of all department employees
Employment of all individuals wishing to become part of the professional team at the Teller County Sheriff's Office
Internal Investigations at the Teller County Sheriff's Office
Civil Unit
Procurement officer for all department equipment
Firearms Instructor and armorer
